ARTEXPRESS is a joint partnership between the New South Wales Department of Education and the New South Wales Education Standards Authority. It is an annual showcase of exemplary art works from the previous years Higher School Certificate that celebrates the remarkably high standards reached by NSW Visual Arts students.

Rampe Realistic Imaging has delivered its full arsenal of services for this project including 2D and 3D imaging, Web Development and VR interactives to deliver the ground breaking ARTEXPRESS Virtual digital exhibition. Rather than simply a digital copy of a physical exhibition, we have worked closely with the department to fully curate a unique experience that stands alone as a persistent best-of-breed teaching resource.

A new gallery is added every year, and the 2026 edition is now live. Visitors can also search and filter works from every year’s gallery by region, school, name or expressive form.

ARTEXPRESS Virtual has been awarded the 2022 WINNER of Museums Australasia Multimedia Publication and Design Awards (MAPDA) in the Virtual Exhibition category (Level B).

The judges said: "An extremely impressive achievement, being both a virtual walkthrough and with supporting resources on the website. The walkthrough is simple to navigate (StreetView style), and with excellent 3D modelling of the many objects on display."
