Rampe Realistic Imaging was formed by Michael Rampe in 2019 to respond to the growing need for state-of-the-art 3D imaging services outside of their traditional use in metrology and manufacturing and into a growing number of nascent demand areas including cultural heritage, archeaolgical fieldwork, collecting organisations and organisations involved with education.

With a significant career in design, education, videography, photography, software development and 3D graphics behind him, Michael saw the current opportunities afforded by a maturing internet, increased graphics processing of consumer hardware and a widening demand of modern digitisation as the perfect conditions to offer custom imaging services to a select group of clients.

Michael is also Co-Founder and CEO of Pedestal 3D Pty Ltd which offers a software as a service (SAAS) product to businesses to self-manage their own 3D data.
